ITA Airways is launching an enhanced set of benefits for customers enrolled in the Miles&More loyalty programme, effective May. The expansion comes after the airline officially joined as a fully integrated partner on April 1, completing an alignment process that began in 2025 across the Lufthansa Group.
The new offerings are available across all membership tiers—Member, Frequent Traveller, Senator, and HON Circle—and include greater flexibility in redeeming miles and accessing services. Members can now book Premium Economy reward flights, secure additional upgrade opportunities using miles or eVouchers, and participate in monthly promotional deals called "Mileage Bargains" on select routes. A new Child Award feature also extends benefits to families travelling together.
Higher-tier members receive additional perks. Senators and HON Circle Members can still confirm bookings on full flights, reserve Companion Award Flights, and carry one piece of golf equipment at no charge. HON Circle Members gain expanded access to reward flight availability. Many of these privileges extend to companions on the same booking.
The expanded benefits build on features introduced in recent months, including priority waitlisting, enhanced airport services, Fast Track access, extra baggage allowance, and lounge access. According to Lorenza Maggio, Chief Strategy, Integration, IT & Touchpoints at ITA Airways, the updates reflect the airline's commitment to delivering a more rewarding and seamless travel experience. "From new mileage redemption options to easier access to services, we want to offer members more choice and a smoother experience at every stage of their journey," she stated, describing the expansion as another step toward the high-quality service passengers expect.
