Bitcoin has regained ground after crossing the $77,500 mark, yet it encounters significant resistance between $78,500 and $82,000. While this rebound signals bullish attempts to establish support above the breakout point at $76,000, the market remains fragile, with sellers actively defending key moving averages. Falling back below $76,000 could trigger a deeper decline toward the $70,000 support zone.

Investor caution is reflected in recent data showing nearly $1 billion in outflows from Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds this week. Analysts highlight the importance of the $74,000 to $75,000 range, which acted as resistance last year and flipped to support in early 2025. Maintaining this zone is seen as crucial to avoiding a prolonged downturn toward previous bear market lows.

Despite near-term weakness, experts foresee Bitcoin consolidating between $70,000 and $82,000 to absorb selling pressure and prepare for renewed upward momentum. Breaking above the 20-day exponential moving average near $78,484 would suggest underlying demand and could open the door to a challenge of the $84,000 resistance level. Clearing $84,000 would pave the way for a rally toward $98,000, shifting market dynamics significantly.

Meanwhile, major altcoins present a mixed picture. Ether (ETH) dropped below a key ascending channel but bulls are pushing to reclaim that support. A decisive move back into the channel and above recent moving averages could drive ETH prices toward $2,465 and beyond, while failure to hold risks a slide toward $1,916.

Binance Coin (BNB) is attempting to hold its 50-day simple moving average near $629, suggesting selling pressure has waned. The coin’s ability to maintain this support will be pivotal for its next price direction.

Among lesser-known altcoins, tokens such as HYPE and ZEC have embarked on upward moves, standing out amid a broader market struggling to find firm footing. However, the larger altcoin market continues to wrestle with lackluster momentum, underscoring the uneven recovery scenario within the crypto space.
