Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared that any country aiding the United States militarily will face harsh consequences following missile and drone strikes on Jordan and Kuwait. Jordan’s military reported that its air defenses successfully intercepted five Iranian ballistic missiles, preventing any casualties or damage on its territory. Officials described the interceptions as “efficient and professional,” averting a direct hit. Meanwhile, Kuwait confirmed that one missile struck a building belonging to a Chinese company in its northern region, killing one worker and seriously damaging the facility.
The IRGC’s statement, conveyed through Tehran’s state news agency IRNA, warned that “the aggressor will be punished,” signaling further possible retaliation. Iranian state television released video footage purporting to show missiles launched at U.S. bases in Jordan, underscoring the targeting of American interests in the area.
In a related development, Egypt reported that a drone attack had set fire to two ships docked at Damietta Port on the Mediterranean coast. Although no group has claimed responsibility, Iranian sources indicated the strike aimed to highlight Tehran’s capability to disrupt global shipping and energy routes in response to escalating pressures.
