Kazakhstan’s QazaqGaz and China’s Trans-Asia Gas Pipeline Company Limited (TAPline) convened to discuss collaboration on gas transportation projects and financial cooperation. The talks focused on advancing upcoming initiatives while securing the economic sustainability of ongoing and future ventures.

Key participants included QazaqGaz’s deputy chairman for economics and finance, Zhanbolat Mirmanov, alongside representatives from TAPline and affiliated subsidiaries such as Asian Gas Pipeline LLP and Beineu–Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP. The meeting underscored the need for coordinated efforts in light of increasing gas consumption and the structural shifts transforming the global energy landscape.

QazaqGaz emphasized TAPline’s role as a longstanding strategic partner in Kazakhstan’s energy sector. Both sides reiterated their commitment to maintaining a strong, mutually beneficial partnership that supports regional energy connectivity and the development of cross-border pipeline infrastructure.
