Take-Two Interactive announced that the highly awaited release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 remains set for November 19, dismissing rumors of any delays during its latest quarterly earnings report. The publisher also reaffirmed that marketing efforts for the game will begin this summer, though detailed promotional plans are expected directly from Rockstar Games, the franchise developer.

During the earnings call, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick addressed questions about the GTA 6 PC port, confirming that while Rockstar has currently announced the game for consoles only, a PC release is inevitable. He emphasized the company’s strong commitment to the PC market and noted that most of their top titles eventually arrive on PC platforms. However, Zelnick refrained from specifying a launch window, maintaining a traditionally reserved stance on the topic.

The current outlook suggests the PC version could follow the console launch by several months, mirroring previous GTA releases’ staggered timelines. For context, GTA IV had an eight-month gap between console and PC releases, whereas GTA V’s PC launch followed nearly two years later. Earlier speculation from a Corsair Gaming executive hinted at a possible PC release for GTA 6 in early 2026, but no official confirmation has been made.

Take-Two’s Q4 financial results highlighted robust performance, exceeding analyst expectations in revenue and profitability. Grand Theft Auto V continues to sustain an unprecedented sales trajectory, approaching near 230 million units sold to date. Likewise, Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold approximately 85 million copies, ranking it among the top-selling games in history. Additionally, GTA Online saw a growth in bookings during the quarter, reflecting its ongoing popularity.

Zelnick reassured investors that GTA Online will remain active alongside the future launch of GTA 6. He credited Rockstar’s ongoing success to the quality and resilience of its game offerings, many of which have persisted through multiple console generations and continued to generate significant revenue and player engagement.
