Investments from major international groups have supported companies like Alsym Energy, which have seen battery storage become critical in stabilizing power during sudden surges, ensuring continuous operation for AI-intensive facilities. This trend extends across the United States, Europe, and Asia, where firms cater to the growing requirements of data centers facing extreme energy demands.
Leading manufacturers are capitalizing on this trend. The world’s largest battery producer, CATL, anticipates that battery storage system sales will represent half of its total revenue in the near future, highlighting the sector’s robust outlook as governments push to strengthen renewable energy reliability. Battery storage now plays a crucial role not only in integrating intermittent solar and wind power into the grid but also in supporting the high energy consumption of AI data centers.
