Karen Marguth, a San Francisco Bay Area jazz vocalist, will take the stage at The Harmony House on Van Ness in Fresno on May 28. The performance, presented by Neville Concerts, begins at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. The event is all ages with general admission seating, and tickets include dessert and soft drinks. Attendees are welcome to bring their own wine.

Marguth has established herself as one of the most recognized vocal artists of the past two decades. She has released six albums as a leader, three of which appeared in DownBeat's annual Best of the Year issue. One album earned a rare four-and-a-half-star rating. Jazz Times has described her as "one of the finest American jazz vocalists."

Beyond her recording career, Marguth maintains work as an educator. She has held positions as a classroom teacher in public schools, an instructional coach for the arts and literacy, and has consulted for both the National Writing Project and the International Baccalaureate Organization. Despite these professional commitments, she continues to produce albums that gain international recognition.

The May 28 concert will feature Marguth alongside guitarist Mike Taylor, drummer Nathan Guzman, keyboardist David Aus, and bassist Clare Reinhold.
